Everest region is one of the top ten beautiful sites in the world to be visited in the life-time. It is famous for its topographical variation and unique culture and tradition. Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world, has unique natural landscape of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Mt Everest area is also famous for its Sherpa villages and Buddhist monasteries. Additionally, Sagarmatha National Park, which extends to the area of 1,148 sq km, is also located in Mt Everest region.
This region contains 3% forest, 28% grazing land, and 69% barren land. It is rich in flora and fauna. This region covers upper catchments of Bhote Koshi, Dudh Koshi and Imja Rivers and form one of the headwaters of the Ganges River.

Everest View Trek - 8 Days (only upto Namche Bazar)/family trip
Namche Bazaar Everest View Trek takes trekkers into Khumbu region. The trek is especially meant for those who have limited days to trek in Nepal. Everest View Trek provides the majestic views of the gigantic and trekkers can explore around Sherpa settlements and see the Sherpa culture.
Namche Bazaar is the gateway to higher peaks with mountains like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, among others. The village is situated on crescent shaped mountain slopes. Mount Kongde Ri (6,187 m) west and Mount Thamserku (6,623 m) to the east of Namche overlook the village. The village is tourism hub of the country and it has a lot of lodges, restaurants, and hotels. Namche Bazaar Everest View Trek starts from Lukla and trekkers move down to the Dudh Koshi River. Trekking further on, the trekkers will arrive at Phakding (2610m). On the way to Namche Bazaar, trekkers will traverse Dudh Koshi River and go by the forested area full of blue pine and rhododendron trees. As they reach Namche Bazaar, they will get the most vivid opportunities to see peaks including Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, Tawoche, Lhotse, Nuptse Everest view Trek is an easier alternative to experience the wonder of Everest region.
